Yard House Progress Almost Ready to Welcome Folsom
The Gist: Yard House is putting the finishing touches on its new Palladio location, with construction wrapping up and employees ready for operations. The restaurant is moving into the former Forever 21 and Stichic location near the Piazza, and is expected to open this early February.
Why It Matters: Yard House brings its well-known menu to Folsom’s busiest locations. It’s another sign Folsom is growing into a destination hub for locals to gather, and spend time closer to home.
EDH Firefighters Recognized for their Years of Service
The Gist: Five El Dorado Hills firefighters were recognized for their 25 years of service. Deputy Chief Dave Brady, Captains Mark Ali, Kasey Owens, and Ben Cowles, and Firefighter Carmen Stiern together brings more than 125 years of serving the community, while honoring their families along the way.
Why It Matters: These are the familiar faces who have been showing up for El Dorado Hills for decades, keeping the community secure and shaping the neighborhood we're relying on today.
