Ace Pickleball Club opens Oct 25 in Folsom
The Gist: Folsom’s first indoor pickleball facility opens Oct 25 at 9522 Greenback Lane in the former Big Lots. The 42,000-square-foot club features 15 cushioned, climate-controlled courts and member unlimited play. Locally owned by Mukti and Jyoti Patel, it is expected to create about 30 jobs.
Why It Matters: Year-round courts mean more places to play, plus fresh energy and jobs for the Greenback Lane corridor.

Blue Bottle Coffee brewing kiosk at Roseville Galleria
The Gist: Oakland-based Blue Bottle Coffee plans to open a 222-square-foot kiosk inside Westfield Galleria at Roseville. The specialty coffee brand confirmed it’s preparing for the new location but hasn’t announced an opening date yet.
Why It Matters: It brings one of California’s most beloved coffee roasters to Roseville shoppers, adding a fresh local caffeine stop inside the mall.
