It finally feels like spring is peeking through the clouds this week. With the Easter Bunny arriving at Palladio and the Saturday morning market back in full swing at the Town Center, the neighborhood is definitely waking up.

We have a packed lineup for you today, from a legendary Thai spot that’s been topping the charts for over a decade to a new way to explore our local history for free. It’s the perfect time of year to get out and enjoy a walk before the real summer heat finds us. Hope to see you out on the trails or grabbing a coffee downtown.

Thirteen Years of "Best Thai" Doesn't Lie

2770 E Bidwell St #100, Folsom, CA
When a restaurant wins "Best Thai in Folsom" thirteen consecutive years running, curiosity becomes obligation. Thai Paradise has earned that streak the old-fashioned way: Head Chef and co-owner Jarunee Fleming trained at a five-star Bangkok hotel, then brought authentic recipes and closely guarded family secrets to E. Bidwell Street back in 2008.
The yellow curry earns a 97% approval rating, the Pineapple Fried Rice with cashews is a shareable showstopper, and regulars insist the Pad Thai sets the regional standard. Cozy, genuine, and worth every mile.

Your Dog Leaves With a Thank-You Bag

25065 Blue Ravine Rd #110, Folsom, CA
Pet Evolution in Folsom does something most pet places don't: it makes the whole experience feel genuinely personal. Their self-wash setup comes stocked with spa-level tools, including a slinky ear cover for blow-drying that noise-sensitive dogs apparently love.
The mobile nail trim service rolls right to your driveway, complete with a thank-you gift bag afterward. Groomers send pets home with seasonal photos and post-appointment notes. Premium food lines the shelves, and first-timers score a coupon.

Folsom Launches a Free Historic Walking Tour You Can Take Anytime

The Gist: Folsom just rolled out a self-guided Historic Walking Tour through the STQRY app, featuring interactive maps, archival photos, and audio stories covering spots like the old Town Jail, Railroad Turntable, and early Powerhouse site. Fun fact: Chinese immigrants once made up half the city's population.
Why It Matters: It's a free, flexible way to explore Folsom's story, whether you're strolling downtown or just curious from your couch.
What's Next: Start exploring at folsom.ca.us/HistoricWalkingTour.
Folsom Ranch Subdivision Gets Final Green Light

The Gist: The Folsom City Council unanimously approved the final map for Toll Brothers at Folsom Ranch Phase 1A on March 10, officially completing the subdivision process for the 49-lot single-family development. The neighborhood sits south of Highway 50, along White Rock Road west of East Bidwell Street.
Why It Matters: This closes the book on the entire Regency development, with Phase 1A being the last remaining map needing council approval.
