The votes are in, the suspense is over, and taking the top spot is... Milestone! This local favorite keeps folks coming back with a warm, easy vibe, strong cocktails, and a kitchen that really knows what it’s doing.

The Brussels Sprouts have a cult following. The “Sixty Day Dry Aged” Grilled Cheeseburger might ruin all others for you. And the California Sea Bass, definitely not “fish & chips,” quietly steals the show.

🎬 Regal - El Dorado Hills

Regal El Dorado Hills is the kind of theater where you can roll in last minute, still find a great seat, and maybe have the whole place to yourself. It’s clean, comfy, and the staff is always kind.

Locals appreciate the easy parking, solid sound, and chill atmosphere. Bring a hoodie; it’s definitely on the colder side. For a quiet movie night without the crowds, this spot is a neighborhood gem.

⚾ EDHLL Fall Ball Registration Now Open

The Gist: El Dorado Hills Little League has officially opened registration for its Fall Ball season, kicking off September 7, 2025. The league encourages players to get in extra reps ahead of spring and has posted full details on its website.

🎒 Folsom Food Bank Hits Goal

The Gist: Twin Lakes Food Bank raised over $7,000 for its annual Back 2 School Extravaganza, set for August 1. The event will equip more than 300 local students with backpacks, supplies, groceries, and more, thanks to strong community donations and support from local businesses and churches.

Why It Matters: For many Folsom families facing hardship, this event ensures kids head into the school year prepared, confident, and cared for. Read more here.

🚒 New Fire Engine Begins Service

The Gist: El Dorado Hills Fire Department officially placed its new Engine 91 into service on July 1 with a traditional “push-in” ceremony at Station 91 in Latrobe. The Pierce Type 1 engine features a new grey-over-red look and is equipped for both structure and wildland fires, plus medical, rescue, and auto extrication calls.

Why It Matters: Engine 91 adds critical versatility and power to emergency response across El Dorado Hills and surrounding areas. Read more here.
