Natoma Station Elementary Singing Choir Awarded with Prestigious Statewide Musical Recognition
The Gist: Natoma Station Elementary earned statewide recognition by performing at the California Music Educators Association’s Elementary Showcase. The Natoma choir presented its themed program “Nature’s Song” under the direction of Stephanie Cantu.

Our Newest Hometown Hero
The Gist: The Rotary Club of El Dorado Hills recently honored Chloe Younger as the Student of the Year for William Brooks Elementary School. During a meeting on January 14, teachers and family gathered to celebrate the fifth grader for her kindness and dedication to doing the right thing. Chloe received a commemorative plaque and a fifty dollar award from the club.
